AYN’s Odin 3 Portal Showcases Its Power and Smart Design
AYN is rolling out the Odin 3 Portal with a fresh marketing spin, dropping a gameplay video that highlights its new Dragonwing Q8 (Snapdragon 8 Elite) chip. But the real value? A packed list of features designed to solve common handheld gripes.
Key takeaways from the reveal:
- Fingerprint-Fighting Glass: The non-display area uses AG (Anti-Glare) glass, keeping it sleek and smudge-free.
- Tactile Upgrades: Expect silent ABXY buttons, diamond-pattern anti-slip shoulder keys, and removable thumbstick caps.
- Comfort First: Ergonomic handle grips with non-slip textures are available for a more secure, comfortable hold.
AYN seems to be directly addressing the messy, slippery issues that plague many glass-fronted handhelds. While we’re still waiting on full specs, the focus on user comfort and clean design is a promising start.
