### The Mini PC That’s Built to Last
In a year where “everything is getting more expensive” seems to be the official slogan of the tech industry, finding a piece of hardware that actually feels like a smart investment is a rare win. Enter the GMKtec M7 Ultra.
While it won’t be the cheapest unit on your desk, this mini PC is leaning heavily into the “quality over quick fixes” philosophy. It sports a sturdy metal shell with a sophisticated matte finish, but the real magic is under the hood. Unlike many competitors that solder everything down to save a buck, the M7 Ultra is surprisingly user-friendly. You can actually swap out the RAM and upgrade the dual M.2 SSD slots without needing a degree in engineering.
The Quick Specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U
- Graphics: Radeon 680M (Solid for 1080p gaming)
- The “X” Factor: Includes an OCuLink port for easy eGPU expansion.
Performance-wise, it’s a workhorse. You can comfortably run titles like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p (with a little scaling love) and handle everything from heavy multitasking to Switch emulation. If you’re looking for a device that won’t feel like a paperweight in two years, this is a very strong contender.
