MagicX Mini Dream Gets Final Design Renders, and a $179 Dimensity 7300 Version
If you’ve been eyeing a new pocket-sized powerhouse, the wait for the MagicX Mini Dream just got a little more interesting. We finally have a look at the official design renders, and it’s looking sleek, compact, and very ready for your collection.
MagicX is playing a bit of a pricing game here. They’ve revealed a configuration featuring the Dimensity 7300 chip, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, all for a cool $179. That’s a strategic move to undercut the KT-R2, which currently sits at a higher entry price for similar specs.
A few quick highlights to keep on your radar:
- The Screen: A vibrant 3.3-inch OLED display.
- The Feel: They’re using Japanese silent dome switches, so you can game intensely without sounding like a clicky keyboard in a library.
- The Sound: Dual-channel speakers with a “BOX-style” enclosure for better audio depth.
The catch? We’re still playing a guessing game regarding the actual release date. MagicX has teased three other configurations that remain a mystery, so we’re crossing our fingers that more details drop sooner rather than later.
