AYN Odin 3 Portal Now Available for Pre-order; Shipping Begins in Early November
### The Odin 3 Portal is officially ready for pre-order
If you’ve been waiting for a handheld that can actually handle your massive library of PC games without breaking a sweat, your patience might finally be paying off. AYN has officially opened pre-orders for the Odin 3 Portal, and it’s bringing some serious muscle to the party.
The big news here is the internal upgrade. This isn’t just a minor facelift; the Portal now sports the same powerhouse internals as the standard Odin 3, featuring the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q8 chip and an upgraded Adreno 830 GPU. Even better? AYN listened to the community and added a massive 1TB storage option for those of us who refuse to delete a single game.
Here’s the quick breakdown:
- Pricing: Starts at $399 for the base model, scaling up to $669 for the 16GB/1TB “Max” beast.
- Battery Boost: They managed to cram a 9,000mAh battery into the device—a nice bump from the previous gen.
- The Catch: The physical design remains largely the same as the Odin 2. If you find the ergonomics a bit finicky, AYN is releasing a dedicated TPU grip to help.
Shipping is slated to kick off in early November. If you’re looking to turn your Android device into a portable gaming juggernaut, this is likely your best bet.
