Homebrew Release: Warnel Chawpiovs v1.7.0: adds “Age of Apocalypse” expansion, web version, support for French language, and more
### Marvel fans, grab your decks!
If you’ve ever wanted to play the Marvel Champions card game without the headache of manually tracking every single rule, the homebrew project Warnel Chawpiovs just got a massive upgrade. Version 1.7.0 is officially here, and it’s bringing a whole lot of chaos to your screen.
The headline news? You no longer need to download a massive file to get started. A new web version means you can jump straight into the action via your browser—perfect for a quick session during a lunch break.
But the real meat of this update is the “Age of Apocalypse” expansion. We’re talking:
- 5 New Heroes: Including Magik, Bishop, and Psylocke.
- 5 New Scenarios: Battle through Apocalypse, Dark Beast, and more.
- Language Support: Limited French support is now live.
Whether you’re playing on PC, Android, or even a (hacked) Nintendo Switch, the game is growing fast. It currently boasts 46 heroes and 38 scenarios, covering over half of the original game’s content. Just a heads-up: if you’re on Switch, you might want to overclock that console to keep things smooth!
